Why ChoreSync asks for calendar access
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, ChoreSync uses that access to add the chores assigned to you as calendar events and to check your availability when sharing out tasks, so you are not handed a chore at a time you are already busy. Connecting a calendar is optional, you stay in control of which calendar is used, and you can disconnect it at any time. ChoreSync does not sell your data or use your calendar for anything else.
